I am a soft serve ice cream fan and was excited to hear this new ice cream shop had it. After tasting the coconut almond ice cream, I could not resist! Creamy, home made ice cream. Just perfect. I’ll be back often for ice cream and soft serve. I love the biodegradable sugar cane spoons and cups replacing plastic.

My husband and I drove past and the Ice Cream sign in the window caught my eye. We stopped and discovered Ella May’s amazing ice cream. He had Mint Chip and I had the Chocolate Cinnamon. Both were packed with flavor, perfect consistency and sweetness. Environmentally friendly dish and spoon was great too. Owner is very nice and her husband makes the ice cream locally but not on site, she told us. We highly recommend!

Five stars isn’t enough. This is as perfect an ice cream shop as one could dream of. Fabulous ice cream made from local ingredients with delicious flavors, a cute small town feel, and a friendly owner who serves the ice cream herself. Doesn’t get any better than this!

What a great addition to West Stockbridge! We especially enjoyed the strawberry flavor, but everything was great. I love that they use locally sourced ingredients, like vanilla from Baldwin’s. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town.

I love ella mays! Its super close to where my camp was so it was perfect to walk there on a day off or period off! So many flavors and topping options! Ella Mays is very freindly and nice. The owner is mostly always there and the ice cream is made nearby. We love the amazing atmosphere and flavors. Ella mays doesn't have a public restroom but that has never been an issue!

Great place! Super friendly owner and really good ice cream! We happened to be walking past less than 40 min after opening. Frappe was great. I had the cookies and cream with a chocolate swirl. Definitely not mad. Thanks for a great experience!

This is the ice cream other ice creams inspire to be. Flavors are thoughtful and sometimes genius, with genuine flavor and perfect consistency and creaminess. Ella (store owner) is wonderful, as is everyone who works there. I love the commitment to compostable everything, non toxic cleaners, organic toppings, and cream from happy cows. This place is a true gem.
